This year, the Hispanic Federation and the Latino Networks Coalition (LNC), a dynamic coalition of fourteen Hispanic Business Resource Groups based at top New York Fortune 500 companies are partnering to end hunger in our community. N1000F highlights one of the most critical challenges affecting the Latino community: the fight against hunger. More than one in five children is at risk of hunger, yet among Latinos the number increases to 1 in 3.

To counter this crisis, the Hispanic Federation launched the Fight Against Hunger/Lucha Contra el Hambre campaign in the fall of 2012, which supports food pantries by collecting non-perishable goods and money donations that provide an estimated 50,000 meals annually to families in need. The event attracts 300 of New York’s most prominent Hispanic business leaders, community advocates and corporate employee networks members.

In its 26 years of service, the Hispanic Federation has grown to nearly 100 nonprofits in multiple states that have touched the lives of millions of Latinos. It has become a respected presence through vigorously advocating for key issues impacting all Hispanics.

Thanks for your support and generosity. We look forward to seeing you!
